Hoosiers -- a new classified front-end and web design bring good ideas from Indiana. While doubleheader coverage from Indiana was unintended, writes COLE PAPERS Editor & Publisher David M. Cole, the result is good reading about good ideas in the November issue of the newsletter about technology, journalism and publishing. Senior Editor Pete Wetmore visited the INDIANAPOLIS STAR and NEWS to see how Atex Enterprise is working out for the papers. Carol Christopher explores how newspapers are deciding which trade shows and conferences to send staffers. And Correspondent Steven E. Brier rounds out the November issue with a roundup of technologies being used to keep remote bureaus and writers in touch with the newsroom.
