Inside the May 25 issue, Senior Editor Pete Wetmore takes a tour of nine markets to learn how circulation executives are battling to win -- and hold -- circulation gains every day of the week.

Also inside, Correspondent Julius Duscha finds that CareerPath.com is going great guns, providing job-seekers excellent access to potential employers -- a new media bright spot.

In other NEWSINC. articles, Wetmore talks with executives about a new way to get Total Market Coverage in the Los Angeles area, combining the resources of the LOS ANGELES TIMES and the Los Angeles Newspaper Group. Wetmore also talks with executives of Zip2 and CitySearch about their canceled merger, and with Robert Jelenic, top man at the ever-expanding Journal Register Co.
