Adobe Systems Inc. of San Jose, Calif., has announced that it has distributed more than 20 million copies of the Adobe Acrobat Reader software, which is used to open Portable Document Format (PDF) files. Advanced Technical Solutions, a publishing systems supplier based in Wilmington, Mass., has announced that it will market a Windows NT-based version of ATS Gateway, a high-speed interface to legacy Atex systems. Gateway works at the Atex MPB (Multi-Processor Bus) level, providing a fast link to Atex files from PCs and Macintoshes. ClassiFind Network, a provider of classified-ad web access based in San Diego, has announced a strategic partnership with Multi-Ad Services Inc., an advertising production software supplier based in Peoria, Ill. ClassiFind's multimedia classified services will be offered to users of Multi-Ad's CAMS program without need for new software, hardware or people.
