NewsEditPro and NewsEditPro IQue version 2.0, now being shipped, take greater advantage of client/server technology, speeding up searches and cutting from minutes to seconds the time it takes to store files and pages stored in the IQue database. With the IQue version of NewsEditPro 2.0, directories can be customized to return just the stories or images needed. Other new features include a spell-checking system supporting customizable dictionaries and error flagging; additional command keys to minimize mouse use; an icon to let a user know notes are present in a story even when theyÕre hidden, and an option for sounding an alert when a search has been updated. Papers using the new software include the KANE COUNTY (Ill.) CHRONICLE, IDAHO PRESS-TRIBUNE in Nampa and OAKLAND PRESS in Pontiac, Mich..
